Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

Your privacy is protected from the start. The quote tool only needs six pieces of information: biological sex, birth date, general wellness assessment, tobacco status, the death benefit amount, and how many years you want coverage. Those are enough to return quotes from each carrier. More personal details—your name, where you live, your medical history—are only requested if you decide to submit an application.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

The prices displayed represent each carrier's estimate for the health tier you selected. Your actual premium after a carrier completes underwriting might be confirmed, improved, or adjusted based on their full review. These quotes are estimates for information purposes only, not a guarantee of any specific rate or a binding offer of coverage.

What happens when I click Apply?

Selecting Apply opens a secure online process where you enter your name, and the system uses the quote you selected to prefill the application form. The platform is the carriers' own secure application system, and you manage the entire process online—pausing, resuming, and signing electronically as needed. Susman Insurance Agency, a California-licensed agency (License 0B75129), handles the overall application.

Will I need a medical exam?

Requirements vary by carrier, the coverage amount you're seeking, and your health answers. Some carriers use accelerated underwriting for eligible applicants and can make decisions within hours using application data, prescription records, and driving history instead of a medical exam. Other carriers or amounts may need an exam. Each quote tells you what to expect.

Is a longer term better?

A term length should align with how long your household would depend on your income: until the house is paid off, children are grown, a business loan is cleared. Shorter terms mean lower monthly costs but coverage ends sooner; longer terms lock in a rate for more years. The tool lets you run side-by-side quotes for 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years.

Does this site sell my information?

Your information stays with you. The quote tool never collects your name, phone, or email. We don't sell or share visitor data with other companies. Site measurement is cookieless and respects Do Not Track. Read the privacy page for complete details on what this site collects and how third parties handle your data if you apply.
